There are good amount of eye creams available in market which can give you, what you want but it is very difficult to choose one which is suitable for you. As they contain lots of chemicals, picking the best option is always tricky. So why not make one for yourself?
Vitamin E is the one ingredient which many people swear by that it can be very beneficial for your skin, specially eyes. It fights free radicals which cause premature aging and reduce discoloration like dark circles below eyes. Almost every brand use it in their eye creams to get its benefits. Today i am going to share few easy recipes of eye creams using Vitamin E which you can make at your home and start taking care of your eyes in better way.
Recipe 1
- Coconut oil
- Vitamin E oil
Take one small container of 5ml and add two tbs of coconut oil in it. Add 1 capsule of vitamin E or 10 to 15 drops in it. Mix it with a small spoon or stick.
It is the most basic and easiest recipe of only two ingredients. Both oils are very moisturizing and have lots of antioxidants which will not only moisturize your skin from with in but also protects them against fine lines or crowfeet. Just apply one or two drops on each eye and delicately absorb the with ring finger.
Recipe 2
- Coconut oil
- Vitamin E oil
- Lavender oil
- Geranium oil
- Clove oil
Pour 2 tbs of coconut oil in small container and add 1 capsule of vitamin E oil. After mixing add 3 drops of lavender essential oil, 3 drops of geranium essential oil and 2 drops of clove oil. Mix them and store in cool dark place.
Apart from coconut and vitamin E oil, we are adding few essential oils for extra goodness. Lavender oil also have powerful antioxidants but on top of that it has calming effect which sooth your tired eyes and drain the fluid stored under eyes which make them look puffy. Geranium oil is an astringent which tighten the skin and minimize the look of wrinkles by promoting blood flow which also protect your skin from thinning. Clove oil is a very good option to treat dark circles as it reduce discoloration and promote blood circulation.
Recipe 3
- Aloe Vera Gel
- Vitamin E
Mix 1 tbs of aloe vera gel with 2 cap vitamin E oil and store in fridge. Apply little amount under eyes and absorb into skin with ring finger. Aloe vera have antibacterial, anti fungal and other healing properties with essential amino acids. It will moisturize skin and prevent it from wrinkles while also soothing the tired eyes.
